Our Story
In November of 2019, I started this small business as a way to earn money for the holiday season and be able to give gifts to my love ones. This idea was one I had thought of far before then, but I used that excuse to begin this new adventure.
As a child, my grandma, who lived with my family for a while, helped me develop a love for both jewelry and art. She lived in Mexico her whole life where she taught herself how to curate beautiful pieces of jewelry and clothing to help pay for her children’s needs. Every time I sat in the kitchen to watch her create necklaces, she’d make sure to also let me play around with beads. When she’d finish a piece, she’d then gift me her leftover beads. In fact, I kept all of the spare beads and now include them in the pieces I create!
I grew up in a humble home, and my mother continuously taught me and my siblings to appreciate all we had and to remember we could do and create anything we wanted. We never were in need, but my mom instilled in us the worth of hard work, and always said, “If you don’t have the means to buy something, simply create it.” I took this to heart all my childhood and would combine these words with my love for art then make myself just about anything. In middle school my friends began asking where my jewelry was from. As I told more and more people I made my own jewelry, I began to realize I could create pieces for others as well.
Jewelry has always been an important part of my life, and one that has helped me find myself. I have grown through it and it has brought me so much confidence. I wish to share that confidence with you all and remind every one that they’re beautiful, they’re loved, and they deserve to be confident.
With love,
